High school: Three-time first-team all-state choice at inside linebacker... two-time all-state selection on offensive line...2014 small-school state Defensive Player of the Year...2015 small-school state Lineman of the Year...finished career with 197 tackles, nine interceptions, 27 sacks and three defensive touchdowns...two-time Peninsula Conference Defensive MVP...two-time all-American wrestler...Academic All-American in wrestling...also competed in basketball and track and field...four-year member of honor roll.

Personal: Third generation Vandal football player...son of Charlene and Timothy Johnson, who played from 1988-89, and grandson of Larry Johnson, who played from 1959-62...majoring in mechanical engineering.
