ACCOLADES: Named to the AFCA All-State Good Works Team for 2023 and will attend the Sugar Bowl.

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in all 13 games... Tallied 56 total tackles including 25 solo... Ranked third on the defense for tackles for loss recording seven tackles for 16 yards... Created one forced fumble in victory against Sacramento State... Saw a season-high eight tackles in win against FBS opponent Nevada.  

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2022): Played in all 12 games for the Vandals… Recorded 73 tackles on the year… Tallied a tackle for loss… Had two pass breakups and a tackle for loss on the year.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (NEW MEXICO) (2021): Played in 11 games for New Mexico. Tallied 11 total tackles and a tacklef or loss fo three yards against Boise State.

FRESHMAN (NEW MEXICO) (2020): Saw action in two games and redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football and track and field at Sandia High School.

PERSONAL: Brother Ben Bertram is a defensive lineman on the team … birthday is February 4, 2001. Started a non-profit with his mom to help people with developmental disabilities find employment and dignity.
