Biography

R-SOPHOMORE (FALL 2021): Played and started in eight games...He helped anchor the offensive line that averaged 4.5 yards per carry and totaled over 2000 yards on the ground.

R-SOPHOMORE (SPRING 2021): Appeared in five games during the shortened spring season… retains the year of eligibility due to NCAA exemptions surrounding COVID-19

R-FRESHMAN (2019): Appeared in 10 games on the offensive line… made his Vandal debut at Penn State (Aug. 31)

FRESHMAN (2018): Redshirted...appeared in four games, predominantly on special teams...arrived at Idaho in spring 2018 after grayshirting fall 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: Did not play football until junior year of high school...started at left tackle immediately...in his two seasons as a starter, Sumner was 22-2 with him at left tackle...standout basketball player...member of the Seattle Rotary Style team throughout high school.
