Clayton Malinich

Clayton Malinich joined the Vandals in 2016 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Today, he serves as an associate athletic trainer and head AT for football.

Malinich was named the head football athletic trainer going into the 22-23 season. Prior to his football assignment, Malinich served as an assistant athletic trainer from 2019-22.

After graduation, Malinich served a year as an assistant athletic trainer at Wagner College in 2018-19. He worked primarily with men's basketball and assisted with spring football operations.

Malinich completed his Master's of Movement and Leisure Science from 2016-18 where he also worked as a graduate assistant within the AT department. 

Malinich earned his Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training at Valley City State University.

Malinich hails from Palm Bay, Florida and is joined by his wife Sam and two children, Payton and Jaxon.
