Honors: 2x First Team All-Big Sky (2017, 18), 2x First Team All-Big Sky Doubles (2017, 18), 2x Academic All-Big Sky (2017-18), 2016 Second Team All-Big Sky, Big Sky Player of the Week (3/16/16), 2015 Big Sky Honorable Mention

2017-18: Surpassed Alan Shin as Idaho's all-time leader in wins with 97...went 23-15 overall, including a 12-5 fall record...recorded seven of his 11 wins in the spring at the No. 1 position...went 24-9 in doubles with Carlos Lonhi Neto...was 10-3 in the fall, winning the Dar Walters Doubles championship...ranked as high as the No. 32 doubles pairing in the ITA.
 
2016-17: Finished 23-13 overall…went 9-2 in conference play…was Idaho’s No. 1 for majority of the season, closing with a 13-7 record…advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Regional…won the doubles title with Carlos Longhi Neto at the Bulldog Classic…went 17-3 at No. 1 doubles.
 
2015-16: Tied for the team lead with 15 dual wins…went 15-4 in the spring…was 10-1 in conference play…finished the season on a six-match winning streak…went 21-7 overall…advanced to the finals of the EWU Fall Classic…made the quarterfinals of the 2015 USTA/ITA DI Mountain Regional Championships.

2014-15: Went 30-10 in singles during his freshman season...2015 Big Sky Honorable Mention...went 12-6 in No. 5 doubles and 10-1 in conference play...won the Dar Walters Boise State Fall Classic over Utah’s Johan Jonhagen (6-1, 6-2)...won 10 singles matches in a row from Oct. 25-Feb. 7...9-15 in doubles play.

Personal: Mark Peter Kovacs was born on May 4, 1994 in Szeged, Hungary... Son of Peter Kovacs and Barbara Sonkopi... Graduated from Szabo Lorinc Budapest in 2014... Has three brothers, Milan, Martin and Marcell.
