Albert Harrison returns for his second season with the Vandal coaching staff in 2016-17 as a volunteer assistant.
 
Harrison brings substantial experience to Idaho, having coached with a number of different schools and clubs to date, including the Palouse Road Runners and the Tailwind Track Club.  Harrison is also USATF Level 2 Coaching certified.
 
Prior to joining the Vandals, Harrison worked with The University of the South as an assistant coach with the track and field/cross country programs, as well as being a physical education instructor.  While with the Tigers he coached three athletes to four top-3 finishes at the SAA Track and Field Conference Championships in 2015.
 
An established athlete in his own right, Harrison is a four-time USA Triathlon All-American and the 2014 USA Triathlon long course duathlon national champion.
 
He completed his Master’s degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University in 2014.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Berry College in Georgia.
