Chad Skiles starts a new chapter as a graduate assistant track &  field coach in his first year at the University of Idaho. He will be helping out with the sprints and is excited to further his knowledge and experience in track & field. He is starting his M.S. in Movement Science this year and plans on pursuing a PhD in Exercise Science. 

Skiles ran cross country and track & field for Everett Community College in 2014-2015 and then ran for Lewis-Clark State College from 2015-2017. In 2015, he was first team all-conference at the NWAC track & field championships with his performance in the 10,000m. He was part of two Frontier Conference championship teams and specialized in the half marathon in track. Skiles was part of the President's List all his semesters at Lewis-Clark State College, and graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology.

Chad has a wife, Katelynn, who ran with him at Everett Community College and Lewis-Clark State College. They just had their first child, Scottie Skiles, and are thrilled to be living here in Moscow, Idaho.
