Weber joins the Idaho coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2017-2018 season, working with the Men and Women’s Cross-Country Program as well as Distance events for the Track & Field Program.
Weber competed for the Oregon State University Women’s Cross-Country and Track & Field Team from 2012 to 2017. During her time as a student-athlete at Oregon State University, Weber was decorated with several PAC-12 All Academic Awards and was the school record holder for the 6000 meter event in Cross-Country. Weber led the Beavers in all five cross-country meets that she competed in in 2016. On the track, Weber ran the fifth fastest time in the 10,000 meters in program history.
Weber will continue to train post-collegiately, specializing in the 5000 and 10000 meter track events under the guidance of Travis Floeck.
Weber graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Kinesiology. She made the OSU Honor Roll every quarter of her collegiate career. In the future, Weber intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Sports Performance. Her career interests include coaching Cross-Country and Distance as well as Sport and Performance Psychology.
