Biography
2015-16: O’Neill made her debut in the season opener against UCSB...has played in 16 games this season...scored season-high five points against North Dakota...averaged 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds per game...handed out a season-high four assists against Carroll College.
High School: O’Neill spent the previous three seasons playing Big V with the Bullen Boomers...she split time between the Victorian Youth Championship and State Championship teams in 2015...she was tabbed as one of the top 15 players in Australia’s National Performance Program, awarded the Basketball Australia NPP Scholarship by Basketball Victoria...O’Neill has represented the state of Victoria with multiple selections to various Victorian teams since 2011...she helped her team win the gold medal at the 2012 U16 Australia Junior Championships...she scored 15 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocks in the gold medal game...was added to the 2015 U20 Victorian team...O’Neill has international playing experience, selected by Basketball Australia to play in the 2012 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3-on-3 International Youth Championships...she was invited to participate in selection camps for the 2014 U17 Women’s World Championship team as well.
Personal: Born January 2, 1997...daughter of Greg and Katie O’Neill...has four siblings, Gracie, Gina, Lucy and Robbie...majoring in psychology.
