Biography
2010-11: Emily played in 15 games on the season and averaged 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game....she matched her career high with eight points on 3-of-9 shooting against San Jose State on Feb. 2...she also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in that game, including four on the offensive glass...she had five points and five rebounds in 20 minutes of action against Sacramento State on Nov. 27...she scored three points on Dec. 17 at Gonzaga on 1-for-1 shooting from 3-point distance.
2009-10: Doran played in eight games for the Vandals and averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game...matched her career-high with four rebounds in her debut on Nov. 22 against Montana State...scored a season-high six points on two occasions...hit 5-of-13 3-point attempts on the season...went 2-for-3 from long range against Montana on Dec. 13.
2008-09: Doran played in 13 games on the year and earned her first career start in the 75-62 win over CSU-Bakersfield...played a career-high 25 minutes against Colorado State and scored seven points on Nov. 22...in the Jan. 8 win over San Jose State she hit 3-of-7 shots, grabbed two rebounds and scored a career-high eight points.
2007-08: Doran saw limited action in her first season at Idaho, as she appeared in 13 games... hit a three-pointer on Nov. 23 against Washington to score her first career points as a Vandal.
High School: A four-sport athlete for the Raiders of Crescent Valley HS, Doran competed in basketball, volleyball, track & field and golf...helped her team to a fifth-place finish at the Oregon 5A state playoffs and earned first-team all-tournament honors after averaging 15.7 points per game...she was a McDonald's All-American nominee her senior season after averaging 19.5 points, 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds during the season...a first-team all-state honoree, as well as the 2007 Mid-Willamette Conference Player of the Year after leading the Raiders to a perfect 14-0 conference record and the Mid-Willamette title...also earned all-state and first-team all-MWC recognition as a junior...excelled both on the court and in the classroom as she finished high school with a 4.0 GPA, was a member of National Honor Society and was named to the Oregon All-Academic Team.
Personal: She is the daughter of Patrick and Marian Doran...has three sisters, Elizabeth, Molly and Hannah, and one brother, Ben...sister Elizabeth played basketball at Santa Clara University...Emily is majoring in Biosystems Engineering at Idaho.
