Biography
2006: Irish emerged as an offensive leader in her first year at Idaho, scoring one goal and leading the team with 27 shots. She scored Idaho’s first goal of the season in a 7-2 loss at Cal State Northridge. She started 11 of the 17 games in which she appeared and also led the team in shots on goal with 12.
High School/Club: Irish played in nine games as a freshman at Portland State before transferring to Idaho. Before PSU she graduated from Sherwood High School at Sherwood, Ore., where she was the 2005 Tri-Valley Soccer Player of the Year. She also earned first team all-league Tri-Valley Soccer Conference honors in each of her four years and was a first team all-state selection as a senior. She scored 100 career goals and tallied 21 assists in high school and was a member of the Oregon State ODP team in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
Personal: She is the daughter of Phil and Pam Irish. She has one brother, Grant (19), and one sister, Kelsey (16). She is majoring in Sports Science at Idaho.
