Biography
2009: Eugenio played in 13 games as a junior primarily at the forward spot. She attempted seven shots, three of which were on goal. She missed four games midway through the season after sustaining a knee injury against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sep. 13.
2008: Eugenio played in all 19 games for Idaho and started 15 as a sophomore. She moved to forward and scored Idaho’s first goal of the season in a 2-1 loss at Cal State-Bakersfield. She finished the season tied for fourth on the team with 19 shots.
2007: Eugenio lived up to her reputation as a fiesty defender on the Idaho back line, as she played in 11 games and started nine before her season was cut short by a knee injury. She managed to move forward for three shots during the season. As a ballhawking defender, Eugenio helped guard the Idaho goal and gave the Vandals a defensive boost as a true freshman.
High School: Eugenio won a pair of state championships with Kamehameha Schools in 2006 and 2007. She earned Honorable Mention All-State honors in 2006 and First Team honors in 2007. Eugenio helped lead Kamehameha to ILH league championships in 2006 and 2007. She was also an honor roll student all four years of high school and graduated with an Honors Diploma. She spent four years competing for the Leahi 90 Premier club team with current teammate Melissa Canite.
Personal: She is the daughter of Glenn and Anne Eugenio. She was born Dec. 19, 1989, at Honolulu, Hawai`i. She has one sister, Karlee. She is majoring in Civil Engineering at Idaho.
