Biography
2009: Watt appeared in three games as a freshman and in a primarily reserve role. She was limited early in the season by a head injury sustained in practice.
High School/Club: Watt was a three-year letter winner at Lynden High School in soccer, basketball and tennis. She was a team MVP and team captain for the Lions. As a senior, Watt was honored as a first-team all-Northwest Conference midfielder, as well as a first-team all-Whatcom County selection for soccer after leading the NWC in assists. She was a four-year varsity starter and compiled 33 goals and 18 assists in her high school career. At the club level, She competed one year each for the WFC Rangers (Bellingham, Wash.), Aldergrove Sliders (Aldergrove, B.C., Canada) and the Skagit Storm (Mt. Vernon, Wash.). She led the Rangers in assists and helped lead the team to a second-place finish at the State Cup in Washington.
Personal:
She is the daughter of Dave and Cindy Watt. She has two brothers, Tyler and Spencer. At Lynden High School, she was a Phi Theta Kappa member and was named to the High Honor Roll with a 4.0 grade-point average. Her intended major at Idaho is Environmental Engineering.
