Jack Rinzel joined the Vandal Strength and Conditioning Staff in 2022 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Rinzel is in the process of earning his Master's in Kinesiology and Sport Management at the University of South Dakota. At SD, he served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2021-22. He served as the primary strength coach for the swim and dive teams and assisted with football.
Prior to South Dakota, Rinzel earned his Bachelor's in Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Before he finished up his undergraduate degree at Duluth, Rinzel played two years of NCAA DIII Lacrosse at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland.
Rinzel hails from Chanhassen, Minnesota. True to their native Minnesotan blood, his brother Sam was selected in the first round (25th overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
