Walsh joined the Vandals as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2014. As of 2023, Walsh climbed the ladder up to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Administration and Wellness.Â
From 2021-2023, Walsh served as an Associate AD for Student-Athlete Health and Performance. Before the Associate AD position, Walsh was the Director of Athletics Training Service/head athletic trainer from 2019-21.
Walsh started his career at Idaho as a graduate assistant athletic trainer from 2014-16 before being promoted to assistant athletic trainer from 2016-18 where he completed his Master's in Movement and Leisure Sciences.
Before Idaho, Walsh earned his Bachelor's in Athletic Training at the University of Mobile.
Walsh is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the US Council for Athletes' Health.
