Francine Hoffman started at Idaho in 2022 as a sports dietitian graduate assistant. She currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director of Performance Nutrition and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

Hoffman earned her BS and MS from South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Nutrition and Dietetics. While earning her degrees, she gained experience in sports nutrition and exercise science by working as a strength and conditioning intern at University of Sioux Falls, graduate teaching assistant in the college of Education and Human Sciences and personal trainer both at at SDSU, and sports nutrition intern with My Sports RD.

Hoffman is a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD) and holds her MS, RD, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, and USAW-L1 credentials. She is a professional member of ASPDA (American Sports and Performance Dietetics Association), AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics), and NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

Prior to Idaho, Hoffman worked as a sports dietitian with Power Portions where she consulted with athletes from the high school to professional level. She also served as the Clinical Dietitian and Foodservice Supervisor at Madison Regional Health System. 

Hoffman grew up on a Hereford cattle ranch near Leola, South Dakota.Â
