Lyn Metzger joined the Idaho staff in 2022 as the Director of Ticket and Revenue Generation. Lyn oversees all ticketing and revenue generation for the ticket operations department. She helped increase football season ticket renewals and sales by 80% compared to 2021. Metzger serves on the Big Sky Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships Committees, as well as the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships Committee.
Prior to Idaho, Lyn served as the Assistant Director of Athletics Annual Giving & Ticketing at Augustana University from 2021 - 2022. At Augustana, she oversaw ticket operations and revenue generation for Viking Athletics. She also assisted in the planning of signature events, including the Hall of Fame Banquet and the Sam Milanovich Memorial Golf Tournament. Metzger conducted ticket coordination for the Men’s Basketball Division II Regional Tournament hosted by Augustana University.
From 2019 - 2020, Lyn was the Ticket Operations Coordinator for the Chicago Fire Football Club in Chicago, Illinois.
Metzger earned her Master of Arts in Sport Management at the University of South Dakota in 2017. At South Dakota, she served as a graduate assistant in ticket operations.
Lyn completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa in 2015 with a B.A. in Sports Studies. She was a Hall of Fame/Trademark Licensing intern for the 2015-16 season as well as a Communications Student Contact from 2012-15 for the Hawkeyes.
A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lyn is the daughter of Loris and Lyle Metzger. She has two older brothers, Lee and Kirk.
Lyn enjoys watching college football, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on the Minnesota Twins.
