Women's Tennis Rolls On

DOVER, Del. - The University of Idaho Women's Tennis defeated Delaware State 7-0 on Monday.

The victory moves the Vandals record to 13-1 on the season. It was the second match of Idaho's spring break road trip.

"Today's match was a solid showing for us," Women's Tennis Head Coach Tyler Neill said. "Delaware State was in the rankings just one week ago, so for us to win 7-0 gives us an idea of how good we can be."

Idaho started strong by sweeping doubles. They were rarely trouble in singles not dropping a single set.

"In doubles we attacked the net well and played very aggressive," Neill said. "I think that got us fired up for the singles and everyone played pretty well."
