MOSCOW, Idaho– The Idaho Vandals fell short 1-6 to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on a Saturday morning matchup in Flagstaff.
The Vandals traveled to Arizona for their second to last match of the regular season. The match began at 10 a.m. with doubles play but unfortunately the Lumberjacks secured the dual point in two of the three matches. The remaining match was left unfinished, 4-4.
As the match moved into singles play, the Vandals looked for more opportunities to compete. Soha Singh won her match from court six, 6-3, 6-2. Despite best efforts, Idaho was unable to find their stride which led to a lone win for Singh. The match ended 1-6, in favor of the Lumberjacks.
