BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho women's tennis team easily kept its winning streak alive with a 7-0 win over Idaho State on Saturday, the team's ninth win in a row.
The Vandals swept through doubles with 8-4, 8-1 and 8-2 wins then earned straight-set wins in four of the six singles matches to improve to 9-1 on the season.
“I'm proud of the way the girls played,” associate head coach Art Hoomiratana said after the match. “This weekend was a result of a total team effort.”
The Vandals will be in action with three matches in Hawai`i next week, facing Sacred Heart (Mar. 6), Hawai`i Pacific (Mar. 7) and Hawai`i (Mar. 8).
