The Idaho Swim and Dive team had another great day in the pool as they took on Cal State Bakersfield. The Vandals won all but two events on their way to a 212-88 victory.

The Vandals started off the day with a first place finish in the 200 medley relay 1:48.45. The team featured swimmers Victoria Papke, Cara Jernigan, Maryann and Sami Hendricks. The relay team also placed first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:32.73 featuring swimmers Sarah Hall, Emily Kliewer, Aileen Pannecoucke and Maryann Kok.

The freshman swimmers continued to race well today winning eight of the events. Erica King won the 1,000 free with a time of 10:22.34. Sarah Hall won the 200 free with a time of 1:53.47 and the 500 free with a time of 5:05.81. Vivian Crow won the won the 200 fly with a time of 2:07.51. Maryann Kok won the 50 free with a time of 24.22 and the 100 free with a time of 53.28. Emily Kliewer won the 100 fly with a time of 58.38 and Lauren Votava won the 400 IM with a time of 4:35.33.

The Vandals will travel to Seattle next weekend to take on Seattle U on November 7th.
