OGDEN, Utah- Idaho junior Enrique Marin was named the Big Sky Conference Men's Golfer of the Week Wednesday. Marin shot a career-best 4-under to finish 14th at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational. It is the first weekly honor of Marin's career.
 
Marin carded Idaho's lowest score each of the three rounds at the tournament, posting a 69-72-71 for his 4-under 212. The 212 was also a career best for total score. Marin has posted the Vandals' lowest score in each of the last seven rounds.
 
Idaho will return to action Oct. 14-15, at the Southern Dunes Invitational in Phoenix.
