MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho volleyball (8-8, 2-2) makes its return to Moscow for the first time in more than a month, with Sacramento State (8-10, 3-1) coming to Memorial Gym on Thursday night at 7 p.m.

LAST MATCH: The Vandals fell to the Bengals of Idaho State in the ICCU Battle of the Domes.  Idaho started strong, winning the first set, but ISU bounced back to take the next three and the match.
 
FIRST RPI OUT: Idaho comes in at No. 187 in the first RPI of the season.  Sacramento State is just above the Vandals, checking in at No. 182.  Northern Colorado leads the Big Sky at No. 114.
 
ROAD WARRIORS: Idaho is the lone team in the Big Sky to start the conference schedule with four consecutive road contests.  Overall, the Vandals haven't played a home match since August 25.
 
BIG SKY EXPECTATIONS: The Vandals were picked by the conference's coaches to win the Big Sky, taking nine first place votes in the annual poll.
 
MATCHUP: Sacramento State enters the matchup at 3-1 in Big Sky play this season and has won three straight.  Last weekend, the Hornets defeated Southern Utah and Northern Arizona at home.
 
The two teams have played three common opponents so far this season, in CSUN, UC Riverside and Portland.  Both squads went 1-2 against those opponents, with Idaho defeating CSUN and Sacramento State defeating UC Riverside.
