MOSCOW, Idaho—Idaho women's volleyball (14-8, 8-2) continues the second half of conference this week as it hosts in-state rivals, Idaho State (12-11, 6-4), in the ICCU Battle of the Domes series at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Memorial Gym.

LAST MATCH: The Vandals added two more wins to their home-game win streak, five, last week after sweeping Eastern Washington and defeating Northern Colorado in four. Idaho has proven to be strong at home with a 6-1 record in Memorial Gym.
LATEST RPI:Â Steadily climbing the polls, Idaho comes in at No. 153 in the latest RPI of the 2018 season. ISU located at No. 210, while Weber State checks in at 143 just above the Vandals.
BIG SKY EXPECTATIONS: The Vandals were picked by the conference's coaches to win the Big Sky, taking nine first-place votes in the annual poll.
RACE FOR NUMBER ONE SPOT: Tied with Sacramento State, the Vandals sit at first place atop the Big Sky standings.
BATTLE OF THE DOMES: ICCU Battle of the Domes is a yearlong competition pits Idaho and Idaho State against each other in women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer and football. Each head-to-head competition carries a point value for the winning team. The athletics department that earns the most points at the end of the academic year will be rewarded the Battle of the Domes traveling trophy and a donation to their scholarship fund from ICCU. Idaho State won last season's series. Currently, ISU has a 2-1 advantage in the series this year.
IDAHO STATE: Idaho faces ISU Thursday, Oct 25, at 7 p.m., in Memorial Gym. ISU is 12-11 overall, and 6-4 in Big Sky Conference play. The Bengals were picked to finish seventh in the league's preseason coaches' poll. Last time against the Bengals, Idaho fell 3-1 at Pocatello. In their previous matches, ISU dropped a pair of conference games to Southern Utah and Northern Arizona at home. Those losses mark the Bengals first winless weekend of the year.
