MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho senior D.J. Henderson was tabbed as the defensive player of the week in the Big Sky by CollegeSportsMadness.com. Henderson set career highs of six tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks in the Vandals' 31-27 win against North Dakota.

Henderson's four tackles for loss were the most in the Big Sky last week and tied for the national lead. Both of his sacks came on third down plays, including his fourth-quarter sack that immediately preceded Idaho's game-changing blocked punt. Two possessions later, Henderson's fourth and final TFL came on a third down play that forced North Dakota to punt with 2:45 to play and set up the Vandals' go-ahead touchdown.

The Clinton, Miss., native has 21 tackles this season, including seven for loss. Henderson's two sacks Saturday, were his first of the season.

The official Big Sky Players of the Week will be announced Monday, by the league office. Idaho has won one weekly conference honor this season. Cade Coffey was named the Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week, Oct. 22.
