Box Score SEATTLE—Idaho women's tennis wrapped up its five-match spring break road trip at No. 14 Washington on Saturday. The Vandals picked up two points on the day, resulting in a 5-2 loss inside the Lloyd Nordstrom Tennis Center.

Washington opened the morning with the first win of the day. The No. 29 ranked pairing of Miki Kobayashi and Vanessa Wong was too much for Idaho's Marianna Petrei and Maria Tavares at No. 1 doubles. The Vandals recovered and fought back to win the next two doubles matches. Lucia Badillos and Laura Spataro evened the point with a 6-2 win at No. 2. Marta Magalhães and Maggie Chen defeated Kenadi Hance and Angela Li, 6-4, give Idaho the 1-0 lead. 

Idaho couldn't hold onto the momentum going into singles. The Huskies won the first four matches to clinch the win. 

A pair of ranked players battled it out on the No. 1 court. Washington's Stacey Fung ranked No. 14, bested No. 39 Petrei, 6-2, 6-2. 

Idaho's lone singles win came at No. 6. Shion Watabe registered a 6-3, 6-3 win over Angela Li. 

The Vandals will get back to conference play on Sunday, hosting Northern Arizona.
