PULLMAN, Wash.— Idaho women's tennis begins the 2019 dual season at Washington State Saturday, Jan. 12 from the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
The Vandals face off against the Cougars in its first matches of the year, which are set to begin at Noon.
FALL RECAP
Leading up to the Saturday's matches, Idaho competed in seven different tournaments during the months of October and November. Idaho senior
Marianna Petrei competed at the ITA Masters, All-American, Regionals and Fall Champions. The team also took part in the Bulldog Invite, Gonzaga Invitational and the Barb Chandler Classic at Boise State. These tournaments included both singles and doubles matches.
BIG SKY PREDICTIONS
Collecting 93 points and three first-place votes, Idaho women's tennis was picked by the league coaches to finish second in the Big Sky Conference.
RING PRESENTATION
Women's tennis was presented with its 2018 Big Sky Title rings during the men's basketball game Thursday.

The Vandals return seven players from last season's squad headlined by three-time Big Sky MVP
Marianna Petrei. Idaho finished second in Big Sky regular-season competition before receiving its fourth consecutive Big Sky Conference title a season ago. Petrei will be joined by fellow Senior

Vandals will take a trip to Spokane, WA for a two-day event at Gonzaga on Jan 18th through the 20th.
