GREELEY, Colo. – A matchup of the top two teams in the Big Sky lived up to the hype, but Idaho (8-10, 4-2 BSC) fell at Northern Colorado (11-6, 6-0 BSC) in four sets on Saturday.
Kennedy Warren once again led the Vandals, finishing with 12 kills and hitting .290. The Vandals were tremendous on the net, with
Kyra Palmbush finishing with 13 blocks.
Delaney Hopen led the squad with 23 digs.
Idaho dominated in the first set to win, 25-15. As great as the Vandals played in the first, the Bears were as good in the second. Northern Colorado came out on fire and never looked back, winning the set 25-11.
The next two sets went down to the wire, but Northern Colorado came out on top in both, 25-23.
Idaho will next return home to face Northern Arizona on Thurs., Oct. 17 at 6 p.m., and Southern Utah on Fri., Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.
