BOZEMAN, Mont. – After opening conference play with a pair of wins at home, Idaho volleyball (6-8, 2-0 BSC) hits the road to take on Montana State (56, 1-1 BSC) on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. Pacific, and Montana (1-12, 0-2 BSC) on Friday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. Pacific.

BIG SKY: Idaho opened up Big Sky play with two wins at home last weekend. The Vandals swept Portland State on Thursday, making short work of the Vikings, then came from behind to defeat Sacramento State in five sets on Saturday. The Vandals haven't opened up conference play with three straight wins since the 1999 season.
BIG SKY STATS: So far in Big Sky play the Vandals are currently second in the league in blocks after averaging 2.88 blocks per set over the opening weekend. Individually,
Kyra Palmbush is second in the conference with 1.50 blocks per set.
Delaney Hopen recorded the most digs in the Big Sky last week with 56.
HOME SWEET HOME: Idaho finally got to play at home again after three consecutive weekends on the road, and it paid off. The Vandals went 2-0 to start Big Sky play, including a thrilling five-set victory over Sacramento State on Saturday.
DEFENDING CHAMPS: Idaho tied for the conference lead last season, earning its first Big Sky Championship since rejoining the league. The Vandals finished the regular season at 15-3 and took the No. 2 seed into the Big Sky Tournament.
NEXT: Idaho will go back out next week to take on Eastern Washington (10/8) and Northern Colorado (10/12).
