SPOKANE, Wash.-- Idaho men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Gonzaga University Tuesday evening at Steven Center in Spokane.
The Vandals let go of the doubles point after losses at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, but Idaho was able to claim a victory when at No. 2 doubles
Valentin Popescu and
Esteban Santibanez defeated the Zags, 6-4.
On the singles side, Gonzaga made a clean sweep. The Zags came away with all six wins giving them the match.
Idaho is now 3-5 on the season and 0-2 in conference. The next match is set for Friday, March 8 against Northern Colorado in Lewiston, Idaho.
