LEWISTON, Idaho—The Idaho men's tennis team was triumphant at home and gained its first conference win this season on Friday evening in Lewiston.

The Vandals improved to 4-5, 1-2 in conference, while Northern Colorado fell to 5-7, 1-4 on the season.

Idaho took the doubles point to earn an early lead over the bears heading into singles play. In singles, the Vandals pumped out five wins that all ended in straight sets. The Bears' lone win came at singles No. 5 where
Guilherme Scarpelli dropped the match in three sets, 2-6, 7-5, 10-2.

The Vandals are back in action Sunday at Boise State at 1:00 p.m.
