St. George, Utah—Idaho women's tennis (12-7, 8-2 Big Sky) concluded the regular season defeating Southern Utah (12-10, 5-5 Big Sky), 6-1, on the road Sunday afternoon.
 
Idaho earned the No. 2 seed at the upcoming Big Sky Women's Tennis Championship, which is set to begin April 25 in Phoenix, Arizona. As the No. 2 seed, the Vandals receive a bye and begins the journey for its fifth Big Sky Conference title in five years on Friday, April 26.
 
The Vandals started the afternoon strong claiming the doubles point and took an 1-0 lead over the Thunderbirds. In singles action, Idaho kept up its momentum with five more match wins on all courts expect for singles No. 6.
 
Idaho took home dual win number eight in conference play (12 overall) in a convincing fashion by the score of 6-1.

The 2019 Big Sky Women's Tennis Conference Championship begins April 26 for the Vandals as they received a bye to the semifinals and will take on the highest remaining seed at 11 a.m. PT.
