Box Score PULLMAN, Washington—Idaho women's tennis (0-1) fell to Washington State (2-0) to open the 2020 season 7-0 on the road.
The Cougars won the first two doubles sets to take the first point in the match. WSU then went on to win all six singles matches over the Vandals.
"We played a much sharper team today," said Head Coach
Babar Akbar. "They are a team that has done really well in the PAC-12 in the last couple of years, so it was nice to get an idea of where we need to improve on in order to get ready for Big Sky matches."
"It's always good to start with a tough team and see how we can improve," added Akbar.
