MOSCOW, Idaho – Vandal Rewind returns on Saturday, November 14, at 12 p.m., with Idaho football's come-from-behind win over North Dakota in 2018. Fans can catch the action, including new interviews with coaches and student-athletes, on the TuneIn App, at GoVandals.com/Listen and on select Vandal Radio Network stations.
Much the opposite of last week's Vandal Rewind, this magic from this week's game comes late.
The Vandals did get out to a great start against the Fighting Hawks and took a 14-7 lead after the first quarter behind touchdowns from Isaiah Saunders and David Ungerer. UND bounced back and found a way to tie the score heading into the break.
North Dakota was the aggressor in the second half and got up by as much as 10 at 27-17, early in the fourth quarter. The Vandals didn't give up, and needed a full team effort to come back for the win.
"It was just a great team win," said head coach
Paul Petrino. "That was as great a win as I've been a part of because it was such a team win. Everybody played a role. Everyone fought, everyone battled. I'm just super proud of all of them, I thought they played their tails off."
Don't miss any of the action, including the game's final two scores, beginning at noon Pacific on Saturday, Nov. 14.
