MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Women's Tennis Head Coach 
Babar Akbar has announced the signing of two future student-athletes to a national letter of intent. Andrea Redondo Gutierrez and Jayanne Palma will join the Vandals in 2021.
"We are excited to have Jayanne and Andrea join the Vandal family for 2021," said Akbar "They have a lot of potential and I am excited to see what they can achieve in their time at Idaho. These ladies represent the values that Vandals Tennis is about."
Andrea Redondo Gutierrez
Denia, Spain [Cidead]
Redondo is from Denia, Spain where she played tennis for Cidead. She has played tennis at a varsity level since 2010. In February she competed in the ITF World Tennis Tour W15 Tournament and recorded a win over Gloria Alogo Piqueras in the first round.
 
Jayanne Palma
Bradford, West Yorkshire, England [North Halifax Grammar School]
Palma is from Bradford, West Yorkishire, England where she played tennis for North Halifax Grammar School. She participated in the J5 Edinburg Tournament in the summer of 2019 and recorded a win against Cristina Korakopoulos in the second round.
