NOMINATIONS

MOSCOW, Idaho – The nomination process for the 2020 class of the Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame is officially open.  The nomination process will run through the month of April, with the selection committee convening in May to determine the honorees.
 
"We are incredibly excited to open up the nomination process for the Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020," said Director of Athletics, Terry Gawlik.  "I'm learning more and more about the deep history in athletics here at the University of Idaho and can't wait to meet our next class of hall-of-famers!"
 
The nominations can include any former student-athlete, coach, staff member or outstanding contributor to Idaho Athletics. Distinguished teams are also eligible.  The full list of criteria for each category can be found here.
 
Starting in 2007, the Vandal Athletics Hall of Fame inducted 102 charter members over the first two years, and has welcomed a new class every two years since.  From national champs to record-breakers, Olympians to Super Bowl Champions, the Hall of Fame features the best of the best in over 100 years of Idaho Athletics.
 
All 16 current sports, as well as several other programs from boxing to baseball, are already represented in the Hall of Fame.  For more on the current members, check here.
