OGDEN, Utah --Â The Idaho volleyball team fell in three sets to Weber State (17-25, 16-25, 11-25)) in Ogden, Utah on Thursday night.
Sophomore Delaney Nicoll posted 12 kills on a .276 hitting percentage while Senior Alaina Lacey provided 15 digs on the defensive end.Â
The Vandals battled back and forth with the Wildcats halfway through set one as the score was tied at 17 all. Munday provided five kills in the frame to help keep Idaho within reach, but Weber State would find their stride with an 8-0 run to close out the Vandals, 25-17.
The Cats carried over the momentum into the second set as they forced the Vandals into six attack errors and two ball handling errors to win, 25-16.
Weber State started the third set with a 9-1 run before the Vandals could answer with a 6-0 run of their own later in the set. The Cats would close out the match and earn the victory, 25-11.
Idaho falls to 3-15 (0-9 BSC) on the season while Weber State goes to 14-5 (9-0 BSC).
