MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team is set to open Big Sky Conference play this week when it hosts Montana for two matches. The Vandals and Griz will first meet on Friday, March 12, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. The two teams will play again on Sunday, March 14 at 1 p.m. Limited tickets will be sold on the day of the game. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Booth on the west end of the Kibbie Dome.

TICKETS: A limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the game. The ticket booth opens one hour before game time and tickets will be $10. Student tickets are available with valid student Vandal ID and can picked up at the west end ticket booth. Entry for all fans will be at Gate 4 on the northwest side of the Kibbie Dome. Thermal scanners will be in use and the clear bag policy will be enforced. All spectators must wear masks at all times and observe social distancing. No concessions will be available.

SCOUTING THE GRIZ (1-0-0): Montana opened the season with a 3-0 win over MSU Billings. Alexa Coyle, Taylor Steoger, and Taylor Hansen recorded the goals in the game. Goalkeeper Claire Howard made one save in 90 clean sheet minutes.

SCOUTING THE VANDALS (0-2-0): Idaho opened the season with a pair of 3-0 losses PAC-12 foes Oregon State and #19 Washington State. Myah Merino leads the Vandals with five shots on the year. Goalkeeper Avrie Fox (0-2-0) has made five saves and has a 3.00 GAA.

SERIES HISTORY: Idaho trails the all-time series with Montana, 7-9-1. In the last five meetings the schools are 2-2-1, with the Griz winning, 1-0, during the 2019 season. Montana's Quinn Peacock scored the lone goal in the game.

NEXT UP: Following the two games with Montana, the Vandals will travel to Portland to take on the Vikings on March 19 and March 21.
