Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho — The University of Idaho men's tennis team earned their third win of the season, 7-0 over Seattle U on Saturday.
To begin the match, Idaho won all three doubles matches, taking the doubles point.
Francisco Bascon and
Matteo Masala earned their third doubles win of the season, defeating the redhawks in the No. 1 spot.
Althaf Dhaifullah and
Bruno Casino earned their third doubles win of the season in the No. 2 spot.
In No. 3 doubles Alexander Asenov and Alejandro Salvador earned their second doubles win of the season.
After taking the doubles point, the Vandals won all six singles matches.
Bascon, the reigning back-to-back Big Sky Player of the Week earned his fourth singles win of the season in the No. 1 spot.
Dhaifullah earned his third win of the season, winning 6-3, 1-6,6-1 in the No. 2 match.
In the No. 3 spot Casino won 6-2, 7-6 for his fourth singles win this season.
Masala picked up his third singles win of the season, 6-1,6-4 in the No. 4 match.
Salvador added his third singles win as a Vandal, 6-2,6-0 in the No. 5 match.
Vivek Ramesh picked up his second win of the season, 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 6 spot.
