MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Garrett Haldeman as Associate Athletic Director for Business.
 
"I am excited to start working with Garret as our Associate AD for Business," said Director of Athletics, Terry Gawlik. "He brings Division I experience and came highly recommended from everyone we spoke with."
 
Haldeman joins the Vandals after 12 years with Oregon State University. There, he worked his way up in the athletics business office with progressively more duties. His day-to-day responsibilities included monitoring the athletics travel budget, developing and maintaining expense projections, and working with teams and staff on financial procedures.
 
"I want to thank Terry Gawlik and the search committee for the opportunity to join the Vandal family," said Haldeman. "I am looking forward to building relationships across the Athletic Department and exploring all Moscow has to offer. Go Vandals!"
 
Haldeman earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Bowling Green State University and went on to earn his MBA from Western Governors University.
 
He has been a volunteer at a number of championship events within the PAC-12 and has spent time working with Special Olympics.
