MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2021 NFL Draft gets underway tomorrow night. Both
Cade Coffey and
Christian Elliss hope to hear their names called this weekend, with the majority of the team's seniors returning for an extra year of eligibility at Idaho.

MOST RECENT: Kaden Elliss is the most recent Vandal to be drafted. He was selected No. 244 overall, in the seventh round, by the New Orleans Saints in 2019.
TOP PICK: Ray McDonald was selected 13
th overall by the Washington Redskins in the 1967 NFL Draft, the earliest selected Vandal in program history. Mike Iupati became the second Vandal drafted in the first round, as he was picked 17
th overall in 2010.
MOST PICKS: The 1958 NFL Draft saw five Vandals get selected, led by the great Jerry Kramer at No. 39 overall. The most Vandals selected in a single draft since the draft was reduced to seven rounds was three, in 2011 when Shiloh Keo (144), Nathan Enderle (160) and Daniel Hardy (238) were all selected.
FIRST PICK: Theron Ward holds the distinction of being the first Vandal selected in an NFL Draft. He was picked 34
th overall, by the Green Bay Packers, in the first ever NFL Draft in 1936.
TEAM: The Detroit Lions have selected the most Vandals ever, with eight. However, it has been a while since the Lions have picked up a Vandal, with the last being Bob Haney going 383
rd overall in 1970.
