BUC SCORING RESULTS | OSU RESULTS
SPOKANE, Wash. – The University of Idaho outdoor track and field teams competed at the Buc Scoring Invitational in Spokane as well as the OSU High Performance Meet in Corvallis on Friday.
"I'm excited about the weekend so far. Everyone has competed really well and we're showing good consistency. We had some more facility records which is always exciting. People are starting to peak and get into championship form. I think we're in a good spot with the conference championship coming up," said Director of Track and Field/Cross Country

In the women's 400m in Spokane,
Camryn Crouch took first place in 56.06, while
Olivia Martin was second in 56.54. In the 800,
Leah Holmgren finished second (2:13.15) while
Faith Dilmore was third (2:14.51) and
Elise Abbott was eighth (2:19.92). In the 400m hurdles, Franziska Stoehr placed second in 1:02.91.
Nell Baker took second in the 1500 with a time of 4:37.58. Meanwhile, in the 5k,
Celie Mans finished in seventh (18:43.82). Vandals were first and second in the 3k steeplechase, with
Maya Kobylanski winning in a time of 11:00.52 and
Jolene Whiteley coming in second (11:25.01). The Vandals' 4x400 relay team consisting of Martin, Stoehr, Holmgren, and Crouch took first in 3:51.04.
Julia Hayes finished first in the high jump, clearing 1.67m/5'5.75". In the long jump,
Tayler LyDay won the event with a mark of 5.74m/18'10" and
Airiana Dargan was second (5.68m/18'7.75"). Greta Kuhne won the triple jump with a leap of 11.40m/37'5", while
Kalani Hardyway was fourth in the event (10.86m/35'7.75") and
Ellie Grant was sixth (10.76m/35'3.75"). In the shot put,
Erika Larsen was fifth (12.05m/39'6.5") and
Victoria Rae was seventh (11.62m/38'1.5").
Keeley Rasmussen placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 40.65m/133'4" and Rae was eighth in the event (38.99m/127'11"). Rasmussen then went on to win the hammer throw with a mark of 54.07m/177'5". Larsen was fifth in the event (49.57m/162'7").
On the men's side,
Caleb Hagan once again won the 100m (10.53). Meanwhile,
Spencer Barrera was the top finisher in the 400m in 47.72. In the 200,
Cole Alteneder was eighth (22.99).
Ben Doucette won the 110m hurdles in a time of 14.17, while
Alex Ayers took first in the 400 hurdles (53.20) with
Deyondre Davis just behind in second (53.27).
Ben Shaw (1:52.49) and
Tim Stevens (1:53.50) were second and third, respectively, in the 800m. Stevens won the 1500 in 3:48.53, followed closely by
Shea Mattson who was second in 3:48.59, and
Caleb Seely who placed third (3:52.31). In the 5000m,
Michael McCausland placed first in a time of 15:00.75.
Sam Fulbright was second in the 3k steeplechase (9:27.66). The 4x400 relay team made up of Davis, Ayers, Hagan, and Barrera finished first in 3:14.24 which is now the best time in the conference this year.
Joseph Ruddell won the high jump clearing 2.04m/6'8.25". In the long jump,
Zachary Nunis took first with a mark of 7.53m/24'8.5".
Britt Ipsen won the triple jump with a leap of 14.80m/48'6.75". In the hammer,
Cullen Williams handily won the event with a mark of 57.15m/187'6".
Nathyn Maller finished second in the javelin (56.73m/186'1").
Meanwhile, in Corvallis, a handful of Vandals competed.
Zack Short won the shot put on Saturday with a season's best 19.51m/64'0.25" and also finished fifth in the discus with a mark of 50.71m.
Malaina Thacker was fifth in the 3k steeplechase with a time of 10:12.88.
