MOSCOW, Idaho – Junior linebacker Tre Walker has been recognized as an Athlon Sports FCS Preseason All-America selection. Walker earned five different All-America honors following the 2021 Spring Season.
 
Walker led the Big Sky with 13.5 tackles per game. He recorded at least 13 tackles in 3-of-4 games he played and was named a unanimous All-Big Sky First Team selection.
 
A finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, Walker is no stranger to the national spotlight. He earned First Team All-America honors from the Associate Press, Stats Perform, Hero Sports and Phil Steele FCS. His second team nod came from the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
 
Walker leads a group of returners that led the Big Sky Conference in rush defense during the 2021 Spring Season.
 
The regular season kicks off September 4 against Simon Fraser in the Kibbie Dome. Season tickets go on sale to the general public in early July.
