Terry Gawlik said. "Clearly, our athletes understand the importance of prioritizing their schedule to accommodate classes, studying, and the demands of academic rigors. We are so proud of our Vandal athletes! I would be remiss if I did not express our extreme gratitude for the hours, energy, and care that our Academic Support Services staff give to each and every athlete. Krista, as our director, has done a fabulous job and quite frankly she is the best I have ever worked with."
Men's cross country (3.74) set a new program record with soccer (3.65) and men's track and field (3.60) tying program bests.
"All of the credit goes to our student-athletes," Associate Athletic Director/Student-Athlete Support Services
Krista Gray said. "Each semester they continue to make succeeding in the classroom a priority and each semester they produce incredible results. The last two years have been challenging and not once has their focus wavered. Our Vandals have achieved over a 3.0 GPA for 16 consecutive semesters and I have no doubt that will continue. I also need to give credit to my staff as their hard work and dedication to the success of our student-athletes is second to none."
