MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho volleyball team (3-13, 0-4 BSC) battled Idaho State (10-7, 2-2) to four sets but ultimately fell, 13-25, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25, Thursday night on ICCU Court at Memorial Gym.
Senior setter
Hailey Pelton posted a career-high 46 assists and added 10 digs for her fourth career double-double. She also added two blocks and one kill for the Vandals.
Graduate Allie Munday led the Vandals in kills with 17. Freshman
Olivia Gloeckner delivered season-highs in digs and kills in her effort against the Bengals, posting her first double-double with 14 kills and 12 digs.
Madison Wilson hit .316 and posted her second double-digit kill performance of the season with 10.
Freshman Libero
Aine Doty delivered a personal best 18 digs, marking her 13th match with 10 or more digs on the season.
For the Bengals, Taylor Burnham led the pack with 19 kills while setter Andri Dewey recorded 40 assists.
Up next, the Vandals wrap up their three-match homestand on Saturday against Weber State. Opening serve is scheduled at 1 p.m.
