SACRAMENTO - Idaho volleyball (4-22, 1-13 BSC) dropped a four-set match to Sacramento State (14-13, 10-5 BSC) in the Vandals' final regular season road match at The Nest, 16-25, 26-24, 14-25, 12-25.
Fifth-year senior
Allison Munday led Idaho with a season-high 17 kills on a .343 hitting percentage. The outside hitter from Post Falls also supplied three digs and two blocks. Freshman Madison Wilson pitched in nine kills and two blocks.
Setters
Hailey Pelton and Kate Doorn each recorded 10-plus assists in the match. Pelton posted 20 assists while Doorn had 11.
Freshmen Aine Doty and Julia Dickeson anchored the defense for the Vandals. Doty recorded her 20th game of at least 10 digs while Dickeson posted a season-best of five blocks.
For the Hornets, Bridgette Smith supplied 16 kills and hit .342 to lead all players. Tiyanane Kamba-Griffin and Caitlin Volkmann each hit above .500 and posted 10 kills.
The Vandals compete in their final two regular season matches of the season when the squad hosts Northern Arizona (Nov. 17) and Northern Colorado (Nov. 19).
