MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team returns for its second season at ICCU Arena, when the team hosts Walla Walla University on Thursday, November 10. The game will get underway from Moscow at 6 p.m.

About Idaho (0-1)
The Vandals most recently opened the season at the University of Denver on Nov. 7. Idaho fought back from down 12 to make it a two-point game with 4:50 left in the second half, but the Pioneers ultimately willed their way to a 68-63 opening night win. A key to the game was the difference in free-throw shooting and the Vandals' inability to knock down shots from behind the arc. Denver shot 17-of-33 from the line compared to 7 of 11 by Idaho. The Vandals went 6 for 30 from the three-point line. 

Four Vandals secured double-digit points in the game, including a team-high 15 points from forward Isaac Jones. Vanderbilt transfer Terren Frank added 11 points and seven rebounds, while guards Divant'e Moffitt and Trey Smith each posted 10. 

Scouting The Wolves (0-1)
Walla Walla University, located in College Place, Washington, plays in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in the NAIA. The Wolves opened the 2022-23 season with a 69-81 loss to Simpson University (Calif.). 

Series History
The Vandals are 3-0 overall against the Wolves and meet for the first time since 2019-20. Idaho won that game 100-50.
