POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho Vandal women's basketball team (5-15, 4-7) fell to league leader Idaho State (15-8, 11-3) 103-68 in the ICCU Battle of the Domes at Reed Gym.

The Vandals could not stop the Idaho State Bengals on Thursday night. The Bengals shot 58 percent from the floor, had five players score in double figures, were plus-nine on the glass, and forced 14 Vandal turnovers.
The Vandals shot 36.9 percent from the field and got 18 points on 7 of 9 shooting from
Louise Forsyth.
Beyonce Bea scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Tiana Johnson added 10 points for Idaho.
The game was close through the first 16 minutes, with the teams trading baskets. But Idaho state would close the first half on a 13-2 run to open up a 12-point halftime lead.
Despite shooting 44 percent from the field in the third quarter, the Vandals could not trim the ISU lead. Idaho State shot 61.1 percent in the quarter to extend the lead to 20 after 30 minutes of play.
The Vandals went scoreless for a four-minute stretch in the fourth quarter as Idaho state ran away with the game to win big.
The Vandals will regroup and head to Ogden, Utah to face Weber State on Feb. 13. Tip-off from Dee Events Center is set for 12 p.m.
