The Silver and Gold finished out a road stretch that included eight out of 10 games away from Moscow. The Vandals will now have a chance to enjoy some time back home to end the season, as Idaho will play six out of their last eight regular-season games at ICCU Arena.

Most recently, UI fell at Southern Utah, 75-59 last Thursday. In the second contest of the season against the Thunderbirds, the Vandals were left trailing right from the start as Southern Utah made 11 of their first 12 baskets to jump out to an early 26-11 lead. Idaho was able to cut the deficit to seven points (48-41) with 13:40 left to go in the second period but that was the closest the Vandals could come for a potential comeback.

Mikey Dixon returned to his old self after not scoring in double figures for two straight games on the Montana road trip, as the senior guard led Idaho with a team-high 17 points versus SUU. Juniors Trevante Anderson and Rashad Smith both pitched in 11 points each to give UI three scorers in double digits.

The Silver and Gold have been a more successful team at home versus on the road this season, holding a 4-5 record and winning three of its last five games at ICCU Arena. The team will look to end a three-game skid after previously earning two consecutive conference victories over Sacramento State and Portland State.

The New Castle, Del. native has been the most efficient free-throw shooter in the Big Sky and his 124 makes at the line is rated fourth-best in the nation. At home, Dixon has averaged 20.2 ppg in nine games, including scoring 24 or more points on three occasions.

Backcourt teammate Trevante Anderson places second on the team in ppg with 13. Anderson saw his scoring mark go up after averaging 16.8 points over the last five contests. His 3.5 assists a game is the highest on the team and ranks ninth in the Big Sky.

Junior transfer Rashad Smith is scoring an average of 10.2 points and shooting a team-best 42.9 percent from behind the arc in his first season as a Vandal. The 6-4 combo guard has scored in double figures 12 times this year, including in three of the last four games. Behind the 3-point line is where Smith has been dangerous, knocking down at least two shots from three in 10 games and shooting 46.4 percent from deep in 12 conference games.

Four Vandals pull down at least four rebounds a game, including a team-high 6.1 from Tanner Christensen. Smith is second on the team with 5.6 rebounds while Anderson (4.8) and Philip Pepple Jr. (4.1) pitch in a healthy dose.
