FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Idaho women's tennis fell to Northern Arizona, 6-1, in conference play on Sunday.
The Vandals began the match with a pair of losses in doubles play. Partners
Saffron Dowse and
Nicole Horacek fell 6-1 at No. 2 while
Ke Syuan Jhang and
Jayanne Palma dropped their match, 6-3 at the No. 1 position.
Dowse recorded her fourth win of the season in singles action. Dowse earned the lone point for Idaho with a 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) victory in the No. 4 spot.
The Silver and Gold fall to 4-10 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
NEXT UP: The Vandals return to action next week against Sacramento State on Saturday, April 16 at 9 a.m. in Lewiston.
